Location: Armory Park
Project Description:
Originally built as the Pima Bakery, this historic Tucson building has served many lives; from its early days as a neighborhood bakery, to its later conversion into a multi-unit apartment complex, suffering from a fire, and was eventually restored and converted to a private residence. Today, in collaboration with Baer Works, studio SAMA is reimagining and restoring the building, unifying its layered history into a thoughtfully designed single-family home.
